#1 – We call it a newsletter - but it's about development

When First Trade Kit (FTK) was founded in 2024, the very first initiative was to start a newsletter. During the first year, we sent out a new issue – every week. That’s where our journey began.
But this was never intended to be just another newsletter summarizing the industry's latest regulatory changes. That already exists – and it's done well by the Swedish Customs through their newsletter TullNytt . You can find it here: TullNytt at the Swedish Customs »

More than news – FTK is your partner in development
FTK's newsletter was written with a different purpose:
To inspire, educate and empower those who work with or are affected by import, export or customs handling .
It is aimed at you who:
• Working as a customs consultant and want to sharpen your consulting skills
• Is a customs agent and is looking for new perspectives on cooperation
• Serves as customs manager and wants to drive change internally
• Or are just curious about how international trade can be made better
We wanted to raise the bar. Provide context, strategy and practical tips – rather than just conveying changed code numbers.
Now in article format – easier to find, read and share
We have now collected the content from the first year's newsletter and repackaged it in article format here on the site . This makes it easier for you to:
• Search for specific topics
• Share with colleagues
• Build knowledge over time
It's still the same content – just in a new form.
Welcome to FTK – your online customs consultant
At FTK, we are customs consultants . But not in the traditional sense. We offer training, advice and tools that help companies develop their customs management strategically – not just solve the operational issues.
We believe in knowledge as a competitive advantage, and we are happy to share it with you.
Whether you are a customs agent , customs consultant , importer , exporter , or just new to the industry – welcome to FTK .
